Because we always take Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) into serious consideration, Proxy Access lets your patients accept or reject a proxy access request. We recommend that you remind your patients to accept only the requests from authorized individuals.
Your patients can also manage the access rights of a proxy, so they no longer have to worry about the proxy having too much control over their health information in IMS CarePortal.
