Health Care Innovation Challenge

Meditab encourages our users to participate in next year’s “Health Care Innovation Challenge”. CMS has a total of $1 billion to distribute to practices who will implement the most compelling and innovative ideas in effort to deliver better health, improved care and lower costs to patients enrolled in Medicare, Medicaid and CHIP, particularly those with the highest health care needs.

The “ideas” may be demonstrated through software adoption, workforce IT training, and/or infrastructure changes that yield the desired results. Winners will be announced in early spring 2012 receiving awards ranging from $1 million to $30 million for a period of three years. Upon receiving the awards, each grantee’s project will be monitored for measurable improvements in quality of care and returns.

There are two simple steps to apply:

1- Submit a “letters of intent” by December 19th, 2011. Propose your general idea, practice location where the “innovation” would be implemented and demographic information for your practice.
